That was exactly my point! Religion has jackshit to do with Arabia's or America's status it has more to do with civil freedom and overall development,so saying that religion is a reason why saudi arabia is a 3rd world country is stupid because America is also religious and still is pro-freedom and secular.

But in Islamic theocracies civil liberties and religion are inextricably linked. Hitchens pointed out that the liberties afforded women in a society are enormously important to economic welfare and other measures of quality of life. Keeping women locked up at home results in a huge waste of resources. Despite our religiosity, we don't do that.

That is correct religion&govt don't mix well together and they need to be separate as the theocracies are antiquated and obsolete for modern way of living.

But the main problem here is uneven distribution of wealth,low levels of education and lack of civil freedom not religion.

Disproved statements&Illogical conclusions are not evidence
Logical fallacies&Unsubstantiated claims are not evidence
Vague prophecies is not evidence
Data that requires a certain belief is not evidence
