Today that same share is valued at $176.

$176/0.40 = 440x initial price, a 17.88% compounded annual growth over that time frame. Drooling

And they still suck, don't forget that.

Now, they do but, they didn't before 2009.

57 years ago today (January 17th) Eisenhower warned the nation of the military-industrial complex.
And we're still not paying attention.

So, according to reports from Kalisk Poland, on the 17th of January, 1775 ...
9 elderly women who were previously found guilty of "causing bad harvests" in the region, were all burnt to a crackly crisp in the town's square.

Nothing like a good witch burning on a chilly winter day. Shy

A double header day! January 20, 1936 - King of England, George V dies AND Edward VIII becomes King of England.

So much family drama - all on one day.
Kinda like Christmas. Wink
