RE: Together we share ours dreams
Heh... My dream? No more stress or pain. For like... a day. Not asking too much yea?

And to have a family. (ok maybe I am asking for too much)

RE: Together we share ours dreams
Since I am now retired, I have achieved many of my dreams: a good marriage, a nice house filled with things I love (including lots of books to read), a relatively secure income so I don't have to work anymore, and the time to work on my creative projects.

Looks like you are off to a good start. First you get the basics to get nicely through each day. Then you start working on yourself....learn, learn, learn. Less joysticks and more books. What is in your head is even more important than what is in your house - your head will always be there to help carry you through life.

RE: Together we share ours dreams
I too am retired. My dream [Image: 5OVOKAY.gif?zoom=2] is to realize 15 trillion USD after taxes from a lottery, any lottery. Then I could sit back and let all those millionaires and needy politicians come to me on their knees trying to kiss my shoes (ass) to get me to support their stupid laws or whatever. Hay, if you're going to dream why not dream really big?

Sarcasm? You better believe it; I wouldn't touch a lottery with a ten foot pole much less my $'s.

Today is the best day of my life and tomorrow will be even better.

RE: Together we share ours dreams
Keeping my list of dreams short so that I don't spread myself too thin:
  • I want to finish renovations on my house within the next couple of years. I have major renovations planned for 1 large room on the 2nd floor and the 2 small rooms on the 3rd floor, and assorted small jobs like paint and trim elsewhere in the house.
  • Trip to Iceland, and possibly Scotland, Norway and other countries along the way. 2019 is a good target date, because that'll give me 2 years to save up for the trip and also improve my conversational Icelandic.
  • I have a vision of standing on the stage at the Centennial Concert Hall in Winnipeg, performing as a soloist, specifically with an alto clarinet. Don't yet know when, or who's staging the concert (symphony? band association? other?) or what piece I'm performing, but it's an extremely vivid image.
  • And I want to publish some of the books I've written (editing work currently in progress).
That's all I've got, and that's enough.

I'm sorry, but your beliefs are much too silly to take seriously. Got anything else we can discuss?
