Tonight on PBS...
The Greeks
Cavemen to Kings - 9:00 PM on WGBH HD 2.1, 1 hr 2016 TV-PG
The innovations and legacy of the ancient Greeks are examined in this three-part series,
which features insights from archaeologists, historians, scientists and artists.
First up: the transformation of primordial hunter-gatherers into savvy seafarers.
Thousands of years before Greece's Golden Age, the ancient Greeks pioneered new
forms of art and architecture; and established the first writing system in Europe.

Skepticism is not a position; it is an approach to claims.
Science is not a subject, but a method.

RE: Tonight on PBS...
I might watch it, if I can remember how to turn on the cable.

But as if to knock me down, reality came around
And without so much as a mere touch, cut me into little pieces

Thx for posting this. I don't always check to see if anything is on. I will watch it.

Probably the power button.

Probably the power button.

It takes a remote controller I'm not used to using and I have to press a button at the right time or my tv will blow up.

At least that's what the kids tell me.

Sounds intense.
