I love how people who consume their personal portion of a finite supply of fossil fuel on a daily basis could simultaneously worry about "sucking up" all the sun.

That's how the fossil fuels we currently depend on were created in the first place. The meteor sucked up all the sun, so everything died and changed into petroleum. Or something like that. Maybe what we really need is another big sun sucking.

I think it's reasonable to assume that in a realm of eternal fire, solar power would be the most rational option. That or geothermal. I can't fault the devil for that. Heaven, being up in the clouds, is probably best off taking advantage of the high elevation and going with wind power.

She was a science teacher?! It's embarrassing to be an American sometimes.

Shakespeare's Comedy of Errors.... on Donald J. Trump:

He is deformed, crooked, old, and sere,
Ill-fac’d, worse bodied, shapeless every where;
Vicious, ungentle, foolish, blunt, unkind,
Stigmatical in making, worse in mind.

It would be funny, unless you've dated a man who thought windmills were solar powered. Drinking Beverage

Technically they are, in that winds are caused by temperature and pressure differentials that are ultimately driven by the sun like all atmospheric activity...

I'm not sure that's what he meant, though.

That is a government plot.
They're storing up parts of the sun in the desert in Nevada I heard.

If that retired science teacher is one who taught most of the kids in town, I guess I'm not surprised by the vote.

You'd think a town of less than 1000 people would welcome any business that wanted to locate there, sun-sucking or not.

Glad you brought up windmills, for years I have suspected that windmills have been causing tornados.
