Travel to Thailand
Anyone been recently? I'm leaving in a few days for two weeks and will be in Bangkok, Chiang Mai & Phuket in Thailand...then to Siem Reap in Cambodia finished with a few days in Beijing.

Most of my time will be in Thailand. Anyone been there recently. Any dining or tour recommendations? Any warnings??

Not looking forward to back to back ten-hour flights to get there.

The only thing I've heard was from my uncle who said the masseurs offer a handjob or intercourse after the massage is over. It's probably partially bullshit but it's the only thing I know

I'll be in BKK after next week (I think) and then in Phuket (for the first time) at the end of April.

Great place, Bangkok. Busy, noisy, inexpensive. Friendliest people on the planet ... if you're not wearing the wrong colour shirt.

Loads of dining choices so it depends what level of comfort/noise you're after.

Khao San Road is popular with the back-packers and the street vendors do some excellent fried crickets etc. http://www.bangkok-city.com/area_khaosan.html

@Blackout
That's called a "happy ending" and your uncle hasn't told you the half of it.

@Jak
Check out Nana Plaza and/or Soi Cowboy if you want go beyond Blackout's uncle's experience.

Have fun.

Just watch out for Rush Limbaugh..... He's been known to go there for the "cream of sum yung guy"....

The difference between prayer and masturbation - is when a guy is through masturbating - he has something to show for his efforts.

Haven't been in over a decade and I still miss the food. There was an awesome curry place right on the beach I went to a few times that I'd recommend if I could actually remember what it's called :/
