That depends on how well his compatriots in the white house understand his disorder and handle him.

Him by himself - either a mental break down or an attack of "narcissistic rage" are in order soon.

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Narcissist...tic_injury

Quote:Narcissistic rage is a reaction to narcissistic injury, which is a perceived threat to a narcissist's self-esteem or self-worth. Narcissistic injury (or narcissistic scar) is a phrase used by Sigmund Freud in the 1920s; narcissistic wound and narcissistic blow are further, almost interchangeable terms. The term narcissistic rage was coined by Heinz Kohut in 1972.
Narcissistic injury occurs when a narcissist feels that their hidden, 'true self' has been revealed. This may be the case when the narcissist has a "fall from grace", such as when their hidden behaviors or motivations are revealed, or when their importance is brought into question. Narcissistic injury is a cause of distress and can lead to dysregulation of behaviors as in narcissistic rage.
Narcissistic rage occurs on a continuum from instances of aloofness, and expression of mild irritation or annoyance, to serious outbursts, including violent attacks and murder. Narcissistic rage reactions are not limited to personality disorders and may be also seen in catatonic, paranoid delusion and depressive episodes.

It's pretty clear that the "grownups in the room" - Ryan, McConnell, Pence, etc. - are just as spineless as Trump is weak.

They had a choice to counsel DJT while he signed the ban on travel to the US from some - not all - Muslim countries. They had a choice to counsel him to knock off the Twitter rants against, well, everyone. They had a choice to counsel him to stop telling lies about the size of the inauguration. They had a choice to counsel him to stop telling lies about voter fraud.

In all those things, they had a choice.

But they chose to do nothing.

Now, the question is: Are they allowing Trump all this rope so he can hang himself? Or are they just weak?

Time will tell. Meanwhile, I hope they hide the nuclear football.

You cannot counsel a malignant narcissist. He knows all.
When you try to suggest alternate ways of doing things, you are shot down and better acquiesce. Otherwise you will trigger rage.

The are going to be walking on egg shells for some time.

RE: Trump Constantly Watching TV
Best case scenario: Trump rages and attacks his VP and cabinet, putting the whole lot of 'em out of action, and then loses POTUS for felony assault.

Probably not going to happen, but it would make for a great story line.

I'm sorry, but your beliefs are much too silly to take seriously. Got anything else we can discuss?

Trump would have to be impeached and then voted on to be removed, and if what he did to initiate the impeachment process weren't bad enough, it would be very easy to see the Republicans refusing to remove him.

Think of impeachment as an indictment. There still has to be a trial and a guilty verdict before any formal actions can be taken against the accused. In the case of the president the house indicts (impeach) and the trial is in the senate presided over by chief justice of the supreme court.

Couldn't he be removed from office for mental health reasons? Obviously delusional behaviour?

Ladbroke's got him at 73% to not finish first term for whatever reason. They haven't opened book yet on whether he goes full Caligula or not but some of the senators' wives and daughters look a little concerned.

Unfortunately, if Twitler was removed from office we'd have Pence and I'm not sure which would be worse. At least with the Dumpster he may be too busy trying to polish the turd that is his image and offending everyone he deals with to do anything too serious. At least I keep hoping that'll turn out to be the case.

so there's no way to get rid of pence and the rest of his cabinet after we get rid of him ?

Serial impeachment.

Or extra-legal means. Consider
