heh

When people start dying who were going to testify against the defendant in an investigation, that I believe warrants some suspicion.

The sad part is that this isn't the stupidest thing you've ever said

How can he pardon her? Under what law? Can Obama can just pardon anybody he feels like when that person is not even charged with anything?

Pretty much.... A US President's power of pardon is pretty absolute......

Don't you have to convict someone of something before you can pardon them?

I don't think so... there are blanket pardons

Quote:On September 8, 1974, president of the United States Gerald Ford issued Proclamation 4311, which gave Richard Nixon a full and unconditional pardon for any crimes he might have committed against the United States while president.

Don't forgot all the poor middle class undereducated white workers who lost their jobs because of that Whitewater business. They need some healing too.

No, that was at least three insults in one sentence.

That is correct. I don't understand why the president has such an absolute power given the high potential for abuse (e.g. when Bill Clinton pardoned one of the biggest tax evaders in history on his last day in office), but it is what it is.
