Michael Flynn is offering to testify in exchange for immunity.

Longer Wall Street Journal article (may be blocked for some users) says he made an offer to House and Senate Intelligence Committees and the FBI, but has gotten no takers so far.

That's what happens when you fire people who were in cahoots with you and you're not acting in the apprentice anymore. Tongue

RE: Trump and his ties to Russia
I feel like we're watching a bad 1970's Russia vs America movie except that more Russians are dying that Americans. So far 6 Russians have died (or is it 9?) mysteriously. I'm not much of a conspiracy person and this all remains to be seen but it sure is an odd coincidence.

Shakespeare's Comedy of Errors.... on Donald J. Trump:

He is deformed, crooked, old, and sere,
Ill-fac’d, worse bodied, shapeless every where;
Vicious, ungentle, foolish, blunt, unkind,
Stigmatical in making, worse in mind.

Seems there are no takers as of yet. Which probably means they don't need Flynns testimony.

Well, not at the cost of letting him off the hook.
He might have been the worst perpetrator. Why let him go, they don't even know what information he is going to give, so its quite a gamble to let him off the hook in exchange for information that just might simply be self incriminating.

If it's just his word then his information might be useless, does it actually lead to the discovery of hard evidence against others.?

They have quite a few other people (9-12 - varies by report) already scheduled by the House. They could be waiting to get a better idea of the situation, and what questions need answering, before getting to key players. Then they could take the offer, or simply summons M. Flynn to testify, sans immunity.

An interesting development is that M. Flynn's lawyer, Robert Kelner, was very anti-Trump (supposedly one of the Never Trump people) during the campaign, who also believed that Trump would simply pardon anyone on his staff who was convicted of a crime. Flynn, being an Army retiree, is also subject to military court martial if there is evidence of a crime subject to military law. There could be many reasons why M. Flynn would want an anti-Trump lawyer, and immunity.

I’ll be a story in your head, but that’s okay, because we’re all stories in the end. Just make it a good one, eh? Because it was, you know. It was the best.

I'm getting the impression we really have no idea WTF his testimony would reveal. Dodgy Sometimes when the other shoe drops, the unexpected stench Gasp can be surprising.

Don't loose touch so quickly with the unlawful means of disclosure it took to bring this Russia chit to the public. Some very high ranking (pun intended) individuals may be exposed Facepalm resulting in criminal prosecution, and this is why his immunity is requested. (most probably)
Flynn asking for immunity may be akin to asking the FBI if they would like to take a shot at their own foot?
http://www.thedailybeast.com/articles/20...crets.html

“Gen. Flynn certainly has a story to tell, and he very much wants to tell it, should the circumstances permit. … No reasonable person, who has the benefit of advice from counsel, would submit to questioning in such a highly politicized, witch-hunt environment without assurances against unfair prosecution,” Robert Kelner, Flynn’s lawyer, said in a statement late Thursday."

You have to be odd to be #1.

Blackwater founder Erik Prince adds to the list.

"The United Arab Emirates arranged a secret meeting in January between Blackwater founder Erik Prince and a Russian close to President Vladimir Putin as part of an apparent effort to establish a back-channel line of communication between Moscow and President-elect Donald Trump, according to U.S., European and Arab officials."

Erik Prince is the brother of Betsy DeVos, our new "Education" Secretary.
