Yeah, I'm just not gonna say anything about that other than, yeah. .... wait, I'm forgetting that in England you can't even get melatonin. Or flouride for that matter.

We have Fluoride...and I've never heard of the other one.

Apparently it's for sleeping? I think it's banned over here.

Edit: According to the Independent
"It was banned from general sale on the grounds that it was a medicinal product (previously, it was considered a nutritional supplement). It is not available from pharmacies because it does not have a licence for sale as a medicine. It is not illegal to bring it back [from abroad] and not illegal to possess it. But you would be breaking the law if you imported large quantities for distribution or sale, because you would be selling or supplying an unlicensed medicinal product"

But then again "kinder surprise" chocolate eggs are banned in the US, because you can't be trusted with them, so....yeah. Drinking Beverage

Its not banned but you do need a Drs prescription for it. My mum takes it as its pretty safe and doesn't make her dementia worse.

Oh right, so it's just like every serious medicine then? Most things need a prescription so this being no different isn't surprising then Smile

I'll apply this data point appropriately to your whole "informed opinion" on the "Drugs" thing. Tongue Smile

Its typical nanny state stuff bro, like not being able to buy more than 32 paracetamol (Tylenol) or aspirin. Ho hum, at least we still have kinder eggs. For now at leastWink

Bet she don't take as much as I take. Tongue I megadose it at 10 mg/day (note: that's "mg" and not "mcg" which is more likely your mum's dosage unit I'd wager) for it's neuroprotective, antioxidant and HGH-agonist effects.

Mum takes 2mg sustained release but usually finds she has to take 4mg for it to be effective, 10mg is quite a whack.
