U.S. Library of Congress: The Bible is BS
A buddy of mine pointed this out. It's a hoot.

The United States Library of Congress is the "de facto national library of the United States of America and the oldest federal cultural institution in the United States." It has its own complex classification system, created in the 1890s, that uses capital letters, mostly in two-letter combinations. For example, world history is D. The history of Switzerland is DQ.

The classification for religion is BL through BX. Christianity is BR-BX. And within that range, anything relating to the Bible (the texts themselves, translations, commentaries, treatises) is . . . BS.

So according to the U.S. Library of Congress, the official classification for the Bible is BS!

Some things are almost too good to be true. Big Grin

Religious disputes are like arguments in a madhouse over which inmate really is Napoleon.

LOL, too funny! Smile

I am not accountable to any God. I am accountable to myself - and not because I think I am God as some theists would try to assert - but because, no matter what actions I take, thoughts I think, or words I utter, I have to be able to live with myself.
