UK TV from the Southern States?
We now have a TV channel called TBN, the Trinity Broadcasting Network, with non-stop religious crap. I believe this is an American channel that has started up here.

On another channel there is a program on now called Greatest Tank Battles, about the battle of El Alamein, which is classified as "Entertainment" on the program guide.
On TBN is a program called Gods Generals, which like every program on that channel is classified as "News and Factual" Facepalm

I did watch a little bit of TBN a few weeks ago and I'm sure you will all be pleased to know that "Jesus is very pleased that we are now getting the message to 90% of British homes."

What do you mean Life is short. It's the longest thing you're going to do.

I would have expected that Jesus could get his message to 100% of all homes if he actually existed.

Atheism: it's not just for communists any more!

Yip.
One needs only turn on history channel to lose all faith in humanity (or at least in American TV).

I knew nothing good would come of this friendship between Hughsie and Ferdinand. Oh sure, at first they were just sending each other food, but look what it's come to now -- the dregs of southern culture have invaded the UK. And that reminds me of the band Southern Culture on the Skids...

Laugh out load

TV preachers are a disease, they spread.

You would have thought so.
They seemed absolutely sure that they were reaching this many people and didn't seem to even consider that some of these households may not watch it. The majority perhaps, maybe, definitely.
It amused me that they knew what Jebus thought about it. As if a two thousand year old fictional carpenter would understand modern technology. I believe that he didn't know enough about carpentry to actually make anything. Or it could be that a story book character can't do anything outside of the storybook.

True.
But, why couldn't you keep them over there.
It's pay back for the pilgrim fathers isn't it?

I'm sorry.

But as if to knock me down, reality came around
And without so much as a mere touch, cut me into little pieces
