Does that mean that they should be taken to the edge of town and stoned?

No. They shall be tied to a post and flogged with a tube sock full of three inch wood screws. Then they must watch a full season of "The View".

I was skeptical too but it seems like it's pretty legit. Apparently the rose is a deep dark red most of the time but because of the very high ph in the soil and ground water from the Euphrates River it turns black for a few weeks in the summer. Apparently a dam was constructed along the Euphrates which messed up the deepening of the color so the local officials scrambled around to try and replant the roses in areas where the ph was similar as before. I donno. Sounds plausible. I do know the roses in my garden are sensitive to the soil ph and it does greatly affect their color. I manipulate the soil to get more color out of the rose.

You are just trying to confuse me with your scientific theories. I am offended by my inability to understand your overly complicated techno-babble explanation. Haven't you ever heard of Occam's Razor? There is a much more simple explanation: demons.

OK, I get the tube sock full of three inch wood screws, but a full season of "The View" is utterly disproportionate. Not even God would inflict that.

I was working on "The Trolley Problem" - maybe the fat man derailed it? Consider
