All I know is, the train's starting to look better all the time...

Except it's slow. There's a reason people fly instead of drive or whatever.

How much time do you want to spend getting to and from your destination?

I look at it this way. I can drive to Disneyland and be there in roughly 18 hours. Or, I can fly and spend a chunk of those 18 hours waiting in line for Indiana jones, Peter Pan, Space Mountain, and Star Tours. Tongue

But surely the further away anyone is from Florida the better for them. Wink Tongue

Disneyland is in California.

I've never been to Disneyworld and don't have a huge desire to go either.

I read that those gators will provide VERY late term abortions for free.

I've learned something, what's the difference between the two apart from location of course ?

Didn't Trump cancel those already?

Disneyland was first opened in 1955 by Walt Disney who maintained an office and apartment above on Main Street.

Disneyland still has Mr Toad's Wild Ride (which is a fun ride where you hit by a train and go to hell where it's hot and steamy). I've heard from friends that Pirates is better in California and the Haunted Mansion. We have Sleeping Beauty's castle and I think they have Cinderella...

Our Thunder Mountain is longer and We have Radiator Springs Racers in California Adventure, I think that Orlando has some Nascar thing....or something like that...

We also finally got back the Main Street Electrical Parade but I heard it's going away...

Disneyland in general is a little smaller but has most of the same elements as Orlando...Orlando has like 6 different Parks and can take forever to get to your hotel...whereas at Disneyland you can easily walk to your hotel (or an area motel), take a nap and head back to the park in a few minutes...

I also tend to think the food options are better because you're not tied to Disney Park food the whole time. Cheap eats nearby outside the park and liquor stores carry booze. Plus Universal Studios (I think they've got the new Harry Potter thing there now) and Knotts Berry Farm aren't too far away. Last time the man and mannish boys went to knotts while I paid for a Disneyland day pass and went on all the rides I wanted to go on by myself...I never told them I did that. Sooooo shhhhhhh it's a secret. Tongue

We will probably be going back next year. I'd love to do Halloween again or maybe Christmas (I tend to get a bit freaky because of our weather here about travel in the winter months).

No kidding!

If I ever went to Florida, no way in hell am I going near a swamp (man made lagoon or otherwise). Those fuckers get into swimming pools...

Fuck that shit.
