Unliking
Is there a way to unlike a post you didn't mean to like in the first place...

It's not really a big deal -- but just curious.

Can a mod remove it or is just there??

RE: Unliking
Sorry - we're all totally screwed on this one.

I can't tell you how many times I meant to hit reply and accidentally hit that fucking like button. Angry Then I have to explain why I "liked" the stupid fucking asshole I actually want to give the finger.

In a calmer moment, I've decided to think of it as just showing that we are all human and make mistakes. As if that's gonna get my ego ridden, spastic self anywhere. Dodgy

I think in the end, I just feel like I'm a secular person who has a skeptical eye toward any extraordinary claim, carefully examining any extraordinary evidence before jumping to conclusions. ~ Eric ~ My friend ... who figured it out.

Weeping It hurts me a little bit when you seek help at a mod to "unlike" my post ...

I accidentally liked one of I&I's posts and immediately wanted the offending hand removed. Weeping

Nooooooo. It's not a big deal in the great scheme of things. Smile. It only got me thinking if there was a way to remove a single "like".

NOW that is exactly what I was thinking....Really it's my biggest fear. It used to be accidentally liking something Egor wrote.

And the only thing worse would be trainwreck Weeping

I'd have to cut my thumb off.

Thanks Kim!

Ironically enough I liked your post instead of hitting reply.

It is a pretty straightforward change to the code to have the 'Like" button toggle to 'UnLike'. And back again. And again....

RE: Unliking
I like the system the way it is now. If you accidentally like something then you just make a post in reply saying that it was an accident and that you don't actually like the post. It really hurts them where it counts.
