Actually Vosur really got me thinking when he gave me a -3 and questioned my sanity.
Was I addicted to TTA and some sort of crazy masochism?
I have always has strong addictive tendencies....NA, AA,SLA etc.
I did ask to be banned earlier in the year and was denied.

TTA clearly indicates it is an atheist forum, not agnostic, free thought etc.
Clearly it has the right to pursue all aspects of atheism to the full and not pander,
too much, to any divisive ideologies. It serves as a community as well.
To at least some extent I can see why I am so disliked by many.

Clearly I need to withdraw and have planned a taper.
I plan to start my own forum in the new year, for like minded folk (cue for Chas)
In the interim period I will do my best to phase out from here.
Please bear with me in my indulgence..........

Well okay. Do what you must, I'm not going to stand in your way. I don't have a thing against you, we've never really talked much. I think you're as much a part of this community as the next guy and I don't think you should leave. But for Odin's sake you need to let the rep thing go. I'm not gonna take a stand in either side 'tween you and muffs, I don't have a dog in the fight. The rest is politics, and we ain't gonna get around it whether you or I like it or not. But you'll die a happier man if you can let it go and just be.

But now I have come to believe that the whole world is an enigma, a harmless enigma that is made terrible by our own mad attempt to interpret it as though it had an underlying truth.

If we all take away or neg-rep you then you have justification for leaving since you can't do it on your own.

Give it a rest woof. You are stuck in a loop that everyone else would just let go if you would.

Middle school bullshit. Again.

If you think controversy is what gets people thrown out of here, you haven't paid much attention. Being a pain in the ass is generally looked upon with more disdain.

Put on your big boy pants and grow the fuck up.
I don't need any justification. It's an addiction problem and i am working on it.
May not be able to do it cold turkey!
As a pain in the arse I am well suited for neg reps.

I'm pretty sure all you need is a bigass GirlyBear hug you big lug you. The fuck you thinkin'?

Seriously I see the thing as an addiction issue on my part.
Involvement for me is more stress than fun in the long run.
Starting tomorrow I will try to taper off.

I will overcome this addiction.
Not knocking the forum.
It is a personal issue.
I've been around the place over three years.
AA and NA has helped>>> just don't fit in here.

RE: Unwarranted Rep.
If you really believe this is an addiction and you have all the experience you say you do with addictions then you know we can't fix the problem.

Not asking anyone to fix anything; just a suggestion re the unwarranted R word.
Obviously I must have had mixed feelings over this forum or I wouln't have stayed as long as I have.

RE: Unwarranted Rep.
I'm assuming your new forum wouldn't have hookers and blackjack... so I'll pass.

You think you don't or haven't fit in here? I can't say how that fits the evidence to the contrary but if its personal it's up to you. All I've seen is mainly you fitting in great, muffs came along and got enraged at some of your posts talking about your opinions based on your past experiences... and mainly everyone else but a few others rubbed that off, but you seemed to continually call back to it or bring it back up in points where it's irrelevant to the topic at hand. My advice would of always been to ignore muffs and continue onward.
