Heathen-ness

I'm a heathen in every way. Big Grin

It just sounded appropriate.

It rhymes with Flash. Cash. And Rash.

It's my nickname. Man, am I imaginative when coming up with usernames or what?

Un Sapien,

"Not Wise"

I've been using it as a Username since the late 1990's. I don't feel like I ever know enough about any given topic, and I've always been socially awkward, I never understood social/cultural conventions that everybody else seemed know intuitively.

RE: Username Thread
DEB-nuh 27. My first name is Deborah and my last name begins with Na so one of my friends in high school started calling me debna in about 10th grade and it's stuck with me since.
As for the 27, it's just always been my favorite number, and it's had a habit of following me places (my student ID number in high school, my dorm room in London, the location number of one of my jobs, etc). I know I'm probably just noticing that it's there because I'm looking for it (yay confirmation bias!) but I still like it Smile

RE: Username Thread
It sounds like it spelled.

It's a play on words. Common Sense / Sensei = Teacher I.E. Common sense teacher.

I'm not brilliant but I feel I have enough common sense. Maybe more them most.

Of all places it came to me in a dream.

RE: Username Thread
I've used it before in other atheism-related forums and such. It always seemed to me like theists are in a fog when it comes to seeing reality and since I never believed I was never in that fog. Not having deconverted, I'm unfogged rather than defogged. (Not that I necessairly claim not to be fogged in in other areas... the handle only applies to religious beliefs.)

1. De-s (?)
2. Its french for "goddess", which is in return the nickname of my classic car (see avatar). Since we are on an atheist forum, it fits quite well, doesnt it?
23 is the model (2300ccm displacement).
