I don't consider them meat. Big Grin They are insects. I got no problem with insects. I used to work at the USDA counting insect parts in grain. We are all eating insects whether we realize it or not. Grasshoppers and crickets could solve the world's hunger problem.

There is only one really serious philosophical question, and that is suicide. -Camus

I've eaten bugs... grasshoppers, ants other nondescript crawly things. Meh, doesn't bother me at all. When I go fishing I cut my sandwich with the same knife I cut my bait (I do wipe it off on my jeans Smile.) No biggie.

So what's veggie broth?

Do the grasshoppers and crickets have labs where they are working on the problem?

RE: Vegan/Vegetarian Recipes
I prefer my vegans to be spit roasted over a pit fire with a side of fava beans and a nice chianti.

So what's veggie broth?

Vegetable Broth. You can buy it just like Chicken Broth or Beef Broth. Also, in case you didn't know about buying stocks and broth premade in the store. They are not the same, there is an order of how much salt is in each kind of meat or vegetable liquids:
Bouillon or Base = most salt
Broth = little less salt
Stock = much less salt
Then either with low or no salt.

For people who are salt sensitive this info is important.
