MAN i was close. I went Space Si Fi, but wrong series.

Good choice too! If i had to create my own religion it WOULD NOT be out of Lucas's abortions..but out of Star Trek!

It wouldn't surprise me. I'm finding more and more that Christians seem to like star trek quite a bit. Seems rather odd to me. Ou know given the obvious atheistic views presented. Of course they do show religions on the show but it's usually just some weird alien shit.

Way true!
Of course, both Star Trek and the Bible talk about funky aliens.

From my understanding, Gene Roddenberry was agnostic, or maybe even an atheist, yet ST:The Original Series contains a lot of Christian themes. Not sure what's significant about that, but I find it ironic.

But it's not like I just decided to become a Veridican or went off the deep end. I've always been a Veridican, at least since 1993. But the way in which Jesus Christ features so prominently in the religion has lead me to often confuse whether I was a Veridican or a Christian or both. But truth is, there is a huge difference between the two, and I have to make a stand in one place or the other--or at least that's what God told me.

Nope, no difference in truth value. Both made-up, invented, superstitious.

You may want to get your spelling right.

Nah, my spelling lends more comedic value to an already sad idea.

Ten or so years ago The Matrix also featured pretty prominently in sermons. Crazy likes crazy.
