There is a reason the lighting is different. Flat even lighting helps smooth out edges and wrinkles, while angled direct light helps accentuates ridges and cast shadows. They do the exact same thing with before and after shots for anti-wrinkle creams and other beauty products. These guys are laughing all the way to the bank while blowing smoke up people's asses...
