Yeah, this has been an incredibly informative experience. I no longer feel so confident that I know what I'm talking about with storm preparation, and I'll also be checking on my insurance policy. I don't know if these families just happened to have policies like that or if that's the norm. Not everyone is mentioning it and I don't ask.

Yeah, but you get to tour some of the areas that other people don't get to see. You get to survey the worst damage before clean up.

Seeing a tree with a three or four foot diameter bisecting a house from roof to foundation can leave a person speechless.
