RE: WLC debated Sean M. Carroll a few weeks ago on origins and Kalam Argument
Well that was a fun read. Laugh out load

To the topic, I watched the debate and frankly didn't pay a ton of attention to what WLC had to say. It seems his presentation is somewhat canned, I've seen several iterations of him debating others and he always seems to say the same thing, just a little differently maybe.

I don't understand why he relies so heavily on the Kalam Cosomological arguement when so often he gets shown why it's weak (all humans have two leggs, kangaroos have two legs, therefore kangaroos are humans). And many times I see him make a point A, a point B, and then leap to conclusion Z. I get dizzy sometimes. Laugh out load

In my nowhere near humble opinion, debates aren't about the two people debating, but about how many minds are changed for having heard the two sides presented. I listen to a podcast called Intelligence Squared (NPR, US version) and really like the format. They take a poll before and after the debate, and whichever side sees the most movement "wins".

Because he doesn't have shit else to "argue" with. Like I said, One-Trick Pony.

Being Executive Director of the Machine Intelligence Research Institute means he probably uses as much brain power in a week as you've mustered to use in your entire retarded life.

Oh, look -- yet more wishful thinking (and I use the term loosely).

You don't know fuck-all about me.

Your claim of this clown being some big influential force among atheists continues to FAIL -- right along with your delusional toe-tapper crush on W. Larry Craig.
