Edit. I'm going to be nicer.

I am not a victim and I dont like how feminism is teaching that I am. There are always going to be sexist assholes. But once you recognize a problem change it. Dont start blaming someone else

Well, the lack of women in S.T.E.M. fields (as well as the lack of men in fields where you primarily see women) is a problem caused by sexism.

RE: WTF Happened to the "Feminism" Movement?
"Professional victimhood"? What the fuck does that mean? How does identifying a problem make one a "professional victim?"

As for the wage gap being a myth, that will be a surprise to a lot of researchers out there.

Doing a quick lit search on articles since 2015:

Edit, adding more (I could spend all day adding articles):

No one is "blaming someone else." People are pointing out the reality of the world we live in. The reality is that getting out of a hole you were born into, is a lot easier said than done for a large proportion of the population who don't have the resources or time that some others do.

"Feminism" is not teaching that you are a victim. A certain group of so-called feminists does.

Sometimes it's not within your power to change a problem. If that was the case, we'd all be happy and society would be ideal. I'm not blaming men for not knowing math now. I blame society. People. I'm sorry, but I can't blame 7-year-old me.

I've actually provided sources on that on another discussion you were also part of. I'll try and find them.

Wage gap as told by feminists is women being paid less for the same work. Your first two sources not only don't lend that narrative merit, but disprove it.

Nobody denies that is you compare the total sum of all mens pay to the total sum of all womens pay, mens sum is larger.

Except every article I posted are from peer-reviewed journals

It isn't funny, it's sad that you don't understand what should be obvious

RE: WTF Happened to the "Feminism" Movement?
Found it!

(21-01-2016 12:44 PM)undergroundp Wrote:  My English isn't cooperating right now and I can't find something specific, but I found this, in which you can find these interesting bits (with studies cited):

Gender beliefs are also cultural schemas for interpreting or making sense of the social world. As such, they represent what we think “most people” believe or accept as true about the categories of “men” and “women.” In North America, at least, men are widely thought to be more competent than women, except when performing “feminine” tasks (Conway, Pizzamiglio, and Mount 1996; Wagner and Berger 1997; Williams and Best 1990).

As we will see below, substantial evidence indicates that mathematical tasks are often stereotyped as “masculine” tasks. Even individuals who do not personally believe that men are more competent than women are likely aware that this belief exists in the culture and expect that others will treat them according to it. This expectation has been shown to modify behavior and bias judgments, as will be described below (Foschi 1996; Steele 1997).

Holding stereotypic beliefs about activities, such as mathematics, has been shown to influence the attitudes and career aspirations of young people (Eccles et al. 1999).

Recent research by Steele (1997) and Lovaglia et al. (1998) further suggest that when individuals know others expect people of their social category (e.g., women, African-Americans) to do relatively poorly on a task, this knowledge creates anxiety and actually leads to poorer performances.

The results of this study demonstrate that widely shared cultural beliefs attached to various tasks affect not only how individuals are channeled into particular activities and subsequent career trajectories by others, but also how individuals “self-select” into occupationally relevant activities.

Well, maybe I shouldn't have said that. I don't care much for labels anyway. The fact remains, however, that sexism does exist and sometimes it is not within our power to realize our biases and change things.
