That's Steve Gadd, and his performance is truly amazing.

I was able to see them in 2003 at Santa Barbara on their Everything Must Go tour. They opened up with this number, which is of course one of my favorites from them.

To get a picture of Walter's musicianship, here's "Josie" from the same album, with Walter playing all guitars, including the uber-tasty solo and fills, in addition to co-writing it:





We lost a great talent today. You'll be missed, B.
