Wanna have some fun with a Christian site?
http://www.truthconduit.com

New site, posting what it claims as "truth", from a quite right-wing perspective. See if you can guess who I am there in comments Big Grin (I've used a different pseudonym).

Better without God, and happier too.

I believe this is a Poe Site.

Why are you still reading this line when it is obviously my signature line?

I don't think it is, but then again, that's the problem with Poe's Law, isn't it? We can't tell.

I gave it quite a bit of scrutiny, and I think it really is trying to "aggregate" religion and science; the host really wants them to be seen as compatible. But it's so freaking hard to know for sure.

My girlfriend is mad at me. Perhaps I shouldn't have tried cooking a stick in her non-stick pan.

DLJ got it right. It's definitely not a poe site though, I know plenty of Christians that make or agree with those arguments (including my family...) They seem ridiculous to us, but to them they're rock-solid arguments.

Quote:The idea that the entire course of civilization for over half of the globe could have its fate changed and turned upside-down by a nutcase, for me, that’s farfetched!

More farfetched than the claim that a god made a woman pregnant with himself so that he could die for all the sins of humanity?

This guy seriously weighed "Jesus was god incarnate born of a virgin who raised the dead and turned water into wine" against "Jesus was a nutcase" and found the former to be less farfetched.

Da Fuck?

What a load of bullshit. It's pathetic how desperately theists try to find something to prove their beliefs but from an outward perspective fail so hard. Just like these fools who believe that statues of the virgin mary who suddenly start bleeding are evidence for the existence of their God.

It's not a POE sight? I guess we have conclusive evidence to support Poe's law then..
