Was a Trump Server Communicating With Russia?
Why not? As long as shit is being slung everywhere and little information is forthcoming let’s go hog wild shall we?

"This spring, a group of computer scientists set out to determine whether hackers were interfering with the Trump campaign. They found something they weren’t expecting.”

http://www.slate.com/articles/news_and_p...ussia.html

“I’ve never seen a server set up like that.”
Christopher Davis of the cybersecurity firm HYAS InfoSec Inc.

"As one of the researchers put it, it looked like “the knee was hit in Moscow, the leg kicked in New York.”

The hackers did it.

The hosting site does some odd things with direct linking. Not sure why. Punch "Slate Trump server" into Google and it comes up amonst the top hits. Here's an overview from The Guardian: https://www.theguardian.com/us-news/2016...ate-report

Looks like a lot of nothing.

Thanks for the link.

I suppose we could also say looks like a lot of nothing on the Weiner files so far.

I highly dislike Trump as much as the next person, but I'm not yet convinced that he's working with Russia. I need hard evidence.

RE: Was a Trump Server Communicating With Russia?
IIRC the was speculation about possible Trump-Russia links quite early in the campaign process, but nothing much came of it then.

Tomorrow is precious, don't ruin it by fouling up today.

RE: Was a Trump Server Communicating With Russia?
Apparently the American public deserves to know that some more emails are being reviewed that might incriminate Clinton in some way, but they don't need to know that a potential future President might be compromised voluntarily or involuntarily by Russians. Dodgy I mean seriously, if this is true and Trump gets elected, we're more worried about breaches of national security through a few classified emails...? Ohmy

@DonaldTrump, Patriotism is not honoring your flag no matter what your country/leader does. It's doing whatever it takes to make your country the best it can be as long as its not violent.

RE: Was a Trump Server Communicating With Russia?
Trump campaign press secretary Hope Hicks said as much: “First of all, it’s not a secret server. The email server, set up for marketing purposes and operated by a third-party, has not been used since 2010. The current traffic on the server from Alphabank’s [sic] IP address is regular DNS server traffic – not email traffic.” - theguardian

I don't think that means what she thinks it means. Regular DNS traffic between Alfa Bank and Russian IP addresses is far more suspicious than some emails easily dismissed as spam or junk. Every internet transaction generates DNS traffic. The "regular DNS traffic" indicates ongoing transactions between the IP addresses. She pretty much just admitted guilt.
