Prophets of God. They wrote the books.
Jewish people do not have prophets of God among them for thousands of years.
They don't have revelations from God for thousands of years.
Why should I believe that Jewish people understand books of the PROPHETS correctly?

Because they've had those books that their ancestors wrote for thousands of years.

You are arrogant in your ridiculous beliefs. You should be ashamed of yourself.

Just because someone has books of ancestors for a long time it doesn't mean that those books are understood 100 %correctly.

P.S. Oh, and angels do not have wings. Wings is just a symbol. This symbol has a meaning.

i thought mortal men were meant to become gods? are angels baby gods then or failed gods?
both. some baby gods/angels/children of Gods fall. They become fallen gods/angels

I'm going to take a moment and bask in the glorious irony of this statement.

Those who are NOT prophets do NOT have authority from God to interpret books OF THE PROPHETS.

Those statements effectively invalidate christianity, islam, judasim, and mormonism and most other older, established religions.

At the same time, someone like David Koresh or Jim Jones would have supreme authority.
I agree with you. the only people who can understand particular Word of God correctly are
1)those who wrote that particular Word of God
2)those who write other Words of God and whom God gives an authority and a gift to understand His Words they(prophets) didn't write.
ONLY PROPHETS OF GOD have this authority - to write and to interpret Words of God.
Jewish people do not have prophets for thousand of years among them.

P.S. Mormons have God's prophets among them. 15 of them

If you had an opportunity to check how Moses INTERPRETED his own books or if you had an opportunity to check how Isaiah INTERPRETED his own book then you could say to yourself: "Yes, Jewish people interpret exactly the same way Moses or/and Isaiah did it. Or you could say to yourself: "They totally screwed up Moses's and Isaiah's interpretations".
But if you do NOT have Moses's and Isaiah's OWN INTERPRETATIONS of GOD'S WORD, then it is not hard to remember that mortals can NOT know and they can NOT understand Word of God if God does NOT give to them this understanding.
Jewish do not claim to receive revelations from God. Then how do they even themselves know that they are correct? The answer is that they don't know this.

Aliza who is Jewish said that according to her religion God is infinite and that He created space and time. I asked her: "what is the name of the prophet of God who said this?" Till this day I am waiting for an answer.

You're going to continue to wait. I don't feel like chatting.

Book of Mormon was written for us. For our times, our generations.

Actually I agree on the whole, those who wrote it understand it. I disagree with them being given any authority. The pope claims to have been given authority and lives a lavish lifestyle. If it weren't for those claims of authority and people gullible enough to believe it, he might be employed at a McDonalds. Given the nature of humans to lie and cheat to get ahead and use others, I feel there is sufficient evidence to say he is lying.
