I remember one of them is called John Venebles but i can't remember the other one.

Yeah that was horrific to hear about. Even more horrific now I have a child of my own.

Its the most brutal, cold video I have ever seen, and ever since I saw it its on my mind a lot and I'm quite upset about it. It wasn't the gore that bothered me, it was the fact that people can do this sort of stuff to another human being.

My view of the world and the people in it has been permanently changed. I'm now paranoid when I'm walking around outside. Yeah I know, theres an equal chance of something happening to me whether I watch a video or not...but this has really got to me.

I'm no going to say what the video is because I don't want anyone else to watch it.

I just wanted to ask, have you ever come across something that has impacted you like this and how did you deal with it?

No, nothing I watched affected me that strongly, but I think my line of study made me somewhat hard to disturb with violence. Reading about GULags, Shoah and other genocides, going through diaries of victims of violence on such scale could make one quite desensitized.

A bit of a sidetrack here --- but ----

Why does something you see in a video bother you??? How do you know it's not just special effects???

I don't think I've ever seen anything on a tv or movie that really bothered me or made much of an impression.

.....

of course I remember as a kid - the movie "The Mummy" scared the shit outta me - and all you got in that one was a guy wrapped in a bunch of bandages... But I think I was only 8 or 9 when I saw it.

...

.......................................

The difference between prayer and masturbation - is when a guy is through masturbating - he has something to show for his efforts.

Its not so much the visual, its the thought that another human being is capable of doing that.

Its a more emotional impact than a visual one.

3 guys 1 hammer was bad and I knew I shouldn't watch it but a low intellect friend of mine wouldn't let up.

The video itself was mortifying and left me shaking my head at the depravity of the human sociopath. I was also moderately put off by my friend's captivation by the violence. He's a loving father and one of the truest friends I've had, but seeing how little this touched his emotions in a negative aspect was strange to me.

The fact that people knew what I was talking about when I didn't even mention the contents of the video speaks volumes about how horrific this video is.

I consider myself desensitized to gore. If its a movie it doesn't bother me a bit, but those disturbed Ukraine boys left a scar on my brain permanently.
