RE: Water Shortage...?
Tidal force? What do you mean?
And how do you know there are geysers?

PS if it really does have this much water its fucking cool.
It means we can build a thermonuclear reactors which will melt the ice and then build atlantis under the water. Or maybe even let it freeze again and have a city under ice.A citadel.

Tidal forces is gravity pulling on the moon and distorting it's shape. Think of how our oceans swell and move because the moon is pulling the water towards one side of the planet or the other. Now imagine this occurring with an object the size of Jupiter providing the gravitational pull. The friction caused by that much stretching and pulling could warm ice enough to melt it.

As for the geysers, we've seen them.
geysers on Europa

Excuse me, I'm making perfect sense. You're just not keeping up.

I had an answer but the one above is explained better.
Edited...

It is the same effect the moon has on earth. Jupiter is so large that it's pull on Europa causes it to contract and expand. This action warms Europa keeping its ocean liquid.
We know this, I think from Voyager. It snapped pictures...

That's great now are you russian?

It's kind of obvious...

...ignore...

Was this supposed to be a Noah's Ark argument?

Oops... I could have sworn I already replied to this, but I don't see my reply here. I know I wrote it, I must not have clicked "post".

Yeah, that was the idea, but in retrospect it wasn't a worth while image to use to point out the lack of water. I could have just posted a picture of the earth and said, "look, there's not enough water", or took a picture outside of any random window in the world as evidence there is not enough water.

This picture just caught my attention because of how little water it actually shows we really have on our planet, despite it looking from the surface to be nearly covered by the stuff. But I redact the point, as it's not that compelling...just an interesting photo.

I think he's trying to say "were you there" in a super shitty way.

...I think...I could be wrong...I can't really tell because he's not just saying whatever it is he's "saying".
