Thanks for keeping it up. Reading this makes me know I need to do my part as well. About to do day 2!

EDIT: DONE. 30 second plank...so shaky. These squats are also killing me!

THANK YOU ADRIAN! I was going to put it off till I saw your post.

Day 4 planks- complete
Day 3 squats and pushups complete

plank was ok today, squats were ok, push ups were hard but I did it. On the 2nd set of squats I did a wider stance to work the inner thigh muscles a bit more.

Holy Fuck! Shocking Where the hell'd that plan from Hell come from? Planks are one of the best exercises for your core (you should do side planks too where you're basically doing the same thing except you turn to your side and hold yourself up on one elbow) but Holy Fuck! The only one of you that's gonna be able to go from barely holding a 20-second plank to holding a 4.5-minute one in a month is LightVader and that's only because he's a 4'11" 80 lb teenage girl (hell she can probably hold it that long now Tongue ). The 30-second jumps from day 12 on are unrealistic. I been lifting a while now and my core's pretty damn strong from lifting big rocks off the ground (heavy deadlifts are the best exercise for your core in my opinion because you gotta tighten everything up to keep from shitting yourself) and I struggle to hold 120 seconds (granted I do weigh 220 lbs so that don't make it no easier). There are very few people I know that can hold a 4.5 minute plank unless they're like well, LightVader light.

That said, it shouldn't discourage anyone from doing planks. If you plateau at 60, 90 or 120 seconds that's still a solid plank time. Keep it up! Thumbsup

I agree in general but I don't agree for LightVader. LightVader needs 1-2g of protein/lb of bodyweight/day if he wants to gain muscle weight. His workout looks good but he's got a fucking hummingbird's metabolism.
