She is a cutie.

I think you will agree.

No?

No. Those are poorly taken photographs that show nothing.

Is that right?

Oh my.

No?

The high definition photos of her sitting three feet away from you might be more compelling.

And in-focus would be good, too.

There are none so deluded as those who will not think.

Well, this was a completely uninteresting thread... I want my time back.
That obviously deliberate attempt at being annoying by not understanding how to type a full sentence did not help my perception of worth here either.

Don't mind me; I'll just give this Dreher character a Troll Stamp and be on my way.

The Book of Life, records very little information.

It is a simple thing.

It says, this meal, did you say grace?

Yes/No.

It says, this week, did you attend church?

Yes/No.

And that, is about it.

When you kneel before the throne, on your last day, God "will call for the book".

The Book of Life.

And he will open it.

And if it is filled with "Yes's"

You go to Heaven.

If it is filled with "No's"

You go to Hell.

It is such a simple matter

That you can not believe it.

Seems easy enough. At least in your religion (denomination?), God doesn't take up too much of my time or prevent me from being a generally good person. I assume there are percentages or something. Let's say I haven't prayed or attended church in, oh 15 years or so. If I started today would the big guy upstairs let me in? What if I started today, but died tomorrow?

People who drive by a car wreck and "rubber neck", that's one thing, I'll give you that one.

But people who keep driving by the same car wreck.......that's something else entirely.

RE: Welcome Mark Dreher
I'm lost Mark,

I've asked you to explain to me how you have arrived at the conclusion that the only requirements to enter heaven is to say grace and go to church.

You showed us badly taken pictures of sunsets. You need to get your senor cleared FYI, it's either got dust on it, or condensation...that's what's causing the distortion on your images. When light hits the sensor directly (like at sunset) the distortion will be far worse. It'll also be worse when you shoot at larger apertures.

Apologies it's not God...unless God is either dust or water droplets.

Either that or you've deliberatly altered the photos in a similar way to your deliberate alteration to the bible.

I don't understand why badly taken pictures of sunsets with a malfunctioning camera is evidence that the whole of christian theology regarding redemption has changed?
