RE: What Are You Currently Reading?
I'm currently reading Spoon River Anthology by Edgar Lee Masters. I do love poetry, and my writing style is very similar to Masters'.

On book 5 of the Camulod Chronicles by Jack Whyte.

Big fan of Arthurian Fantasy, and the magical bit about this one is that there is no magical bit! It's actually a historically plausible story of the life of the grandparents of Arthur, up to... well... actually where I am right now Arthur's about 13, so I don't know where it all leads. I'm looking forward to the rest, though. I haven't been this addicted to a series in quite some time.

Not terribly interesting to you guys maybe, but they're new books to me:
The God Delusion, Dawkins
Why People Believe Weird Things, Shermer

OK, you caught me. I'm relatively new to reading books like this. My skepticism has mostly been internal until a few months ago.

Don't brush that off!
Dawkins is always interesting. His books - particularly The God Delusion - held my hand through the dark period in which I, in a time of great personal turmoil, left the church that I had always felt to be my source of strength. He helped me come to terms with my atheism at a time when I couldn't even break the news to my husband.

I'm a little bit of a fan. Big Grin

Doubt - A History, Jennifer Michael Hecht

I'm not very far into it, but I'm not thrilled. Her writing is flat and boring. Maybe it gets better, we'll see.

OK, further in to it. I was wrong, she's quite a good writer.

I think I started reading it when I was tired.

I just finished Heart of Darkness... what a mindfuck. I think I am all out of classic novels at the moment, but I never did completely read Dune... I'll try to find my copy.
