RE: What Are You Currently Reading?
I just finished The Sixth Extinction by Elizabeth Kolbert and am now reading A Universe From Nothing: Why There Is Something Rather Than Nothing by Lawrence Krauss.

RE: What Are You Currently Reading?
I just started the second book in the Wheel of Time series by Robert Jordan. It's called the Great Hunt. The series was recommended to me by a friend in college. I'm only now getting around to it and really enjoying it.

Green, if you like medieval vulgarity, you'll love Boccaccio's Decameron (written just after and set in the time of the plague). In one of my favorite stories, an Italian villager goes to a convent, pretending to be a deaf/mute looking for work. Since they think him incapable of communication, each nun takes him as a lover. Hilarity ensues.

Working on a 12 hour lecture series presented by Professor Steven L. Goldman called, Science Wars: What Scientists Know and How They Know It. TONS of the history of science. A lot of this stuff has been all but forgotten though it still influences not only what we do today but, why we do science the way we do it. I thought it might be dry but it's really quite enjoyable... a nice chronological gathering information and a bit of intimate trivia too. Shy
