Plato at the Googleplex.

NOTE: Member, Tomasia uses this site to slander other individuals. He then later proclaims it a joke, but not in public.
I will call him a liar and a dog here and now.

I've got a couple things going at once, as per usual. Hobo

"Something Happened" by Joseph Heller

"God Emperor of Dune" by Frank Herbert

I'm gonna make myself finish "Something Happened" and at least get further in "God Emperor" (Frank's books are usually slow-reads for me, his writing is very rich Blush ) and then it's gonna be on to "The Rise of Endymion" by Dan Simmons (so excited to finish up that series!).

Everything Flows by Vasily Grossman.

The first revolt is against the supreme tyranny of theology, of the phantom of God. As long as we have a master in heaven, we will be slaves on earth.

Hmmm... It would never have occurred to me that there is any need for such a thing, but what do I know? It turns out there actually is one:

It's been a couple of decades... time to revisit an old favorite. This time, I am reading it to my 12yo daughter.

What Are You Currently Reading?
Reading "Paranormality" by Prof. Richard Wiseman.

My son is on the autistic spectrum. His anxiety doesn't mix well with the paranormal beliefs of my wife and mother-in-law (wife's grandmother was a professional medium once). This book has helped him greatly so far and we haven't even finished it.

It even includes psychological/perceptive experiments you can try on your own.

Guess I'm on a classics kick, for the time being.

I've wanted to read The Prince for a long time.

Perhaps I'll start that after I finish reading the autobiography of Groucho Marx that I just started yesterday. It's called "Groucho and Me". Before that I read the autobiography of Harpo Marx called......"Harpo Speaks!" What a funny, crazy, nutso family.... the whole lot of them were wacky. Very enjoyable reading! Great for summer.

Shakespeare's Comedy of Errors.... on Donald J. Trump:

He is deformed, crooked, old, and sere,
Ill-fac’d, worse bodied, shapeless every where;
Vicious, ungentle, foolish, blunt, unkind,
Stigmatical in making, worse in mind.
