Just bought Seth's Andrew's book "Deconverted"....wish it were longer! I'm already on Chap. 10 after only an hour or so!

RE: What Are You Currently Reading?
Right now I'm reading Kurt Vonnegut's The Sirens of Titan.

Next up is Richard Cox's The God Particle.

Most recently-finished book was Dan Simmons' The Fall of Hyperion (library didn't have Hyperion, so I read the second book first, so sue me) and I really, really enjoyed it.

Oh, and I'm trying to tackle Charles Darwin's Origin of Species, but damn is it a doozy. It's slow-going and I'm only reading it in my spare time, between other, more digestible books.

The Dark Elf Trilogy by R.A. Salvatore (because D&D is amusing)

Does anyone use Good Reads (website and/or app)?
I use Good Reads (haven't been on it for too long, though) and I absolutely love it. I use the website.

RE: What Are You Currently Reading?
History of Madness by Michel Foucault, a tome of a thing, the size of a telephone book; also hard to follow, repetitive, dull in many parts....................one needs to be mad to bother probably. Sadcryface

"Evidence that Demands a Verdict" - Josh McDowell (A Campus Crusade for Christ Book)

This is at the request of my mother who I recently came out as an atheist to. In exchange, I gave her my copy of "The God Delusion." I figure there is nothing wrong with a healthy dialogue and I am not opposed to challenging my view because I may just learn a few things.

RE: What Are You Currently Reading?
I just started reading 'The Warrior Prophet' by Scott Bakker, after finishing 'The Darkness That Comes Before'. I really like the series so far. One of the best things about the series is that the characters are more deep, and you aren't given enough information about anyone to be able to tell exactly what they will do next, or what their motivations are.

I'd like to read some non-fiction, but I don't know what to go for. Something about religion, or philosophy in relation to politics or religion.

If something can be destroyed by the truth, it might be worth destroying.
