You expect me to believe this guy is 13?

Really?

He must have been playing drums in the womb.

Black Sabbath's Planet Caravan uses Congas. I think Zeitgeist also.

He must have been playing drums in the womb.

He began with me, aged 5. At first he did not want to learn technique, so I tricked him. From age five I included drum rudiments in his rhythmic practice. Then when he was 9 he said "Dale, I wanna learn technique now!" I laughed at him and told him he already had it. Big Grin He is now 14 and way way better than what he was in that old clip.

And he is an incredible reader.

If interested here is a clip he dedicated to me. The snare drum he is using is over 100 years old. It is on my instrument thread.

He is currently in an adult progressive rock band. EDIT: It took the band three years to find a drummer who could cut their music. I had Taso playing odd time signatures when he was 9. The band is thrilled to bits with him and call him "The Kid". Smile

Just listened. Bongos on those Sabbath tracks.

UK. In the dead of night clip.

I love Bruford. He gave me great advice when teaching Taso. Lovely guy.

I saw Maiden in the 90's. Smile

If you saw them in Australia that would have been in '92 Fear of the Dark tour.
I saw them on that tour in Auckland, the first time they had been to NZ.

Great story.
Looks like a fun drum song to play, quite a tumbling groove.
The Kid looks like he's really getting into it.

Well done to both of you.
