I enjoyed that Jenny.

Anyway here is a song that represents my attitude to life.

I will call him a liar and a dog here and now.

I was just guessin'
At numbers and figures,
Pulling the puzzles apart.
Questions of science,
Science and progress,
Cannot speak as loud as my heart.
Oh, tell me you love me,
Come back and hold me...

Judith - A Perfect Circle

You're such an inspiration for the ways
That I will never ever choose to be.
Oh so many ways for me to show you
How your savior has abandoned you.
Fuck your God,
Your Lord and your Christ!
He did this,
Took all you had and
Left you this way.
Still you pray, you never stray,
Never taste of the fruit.
You never thought to question why!

It's not like you killed someone,
It's not like you drove a hateful spear into his side.
Praise the one who left you
Broken down and paralyzed!
He did it all for you, oh,
He did it all for you.

Oh so many many ways for me to show you
How your dogma has abandoned you.
Pray to your Christ, to your god--
Never taste of the fruit,
Never stray, never break,
Never---
Choke on a lie,
Even though he's the one who did this to you,
You never thought to question why.

It's not like you killed someone,
It's not like you drove a spiteful spear into his side.
Talk to Jesus Christ
As if he knows the reasons why
He did it all for you...
Did it all for you...
He did it all for you...

(Edit to Add: My favorite by APC is "Orestes", done amazingly live, at Red Rocks...)

RE: What Are You Listening To?
I've been having a Chris Squire night. I think it has only now hit me he is dead. This is a promo for his 1975 LP Fish out of water.
Chris Squire - Bass.
Bill Bruford - Drums.
Patrick Moraz - Keys.

Rocket great choice with Orestes. LOVE that song.

I had forgotten Judith. Great tune!

RE: What Are You Listening To?
Seeing as we have A perfect circle above, an offshoot of Tool, we should have one of Tools biggest influences. I just found an incredible live recording of Elephant talk from some TV show. When I was a kid King Crimson was my dream gig. It was just about the only rock band that excited me. And it is funky as hell.

Sorry to post twice in a row. I've been listening to music on Youtube all day and have ended up back in my roots. Must be getting old!

I love me some Shakira! But, Jennybee, this is the one that makes me think of you:
