Wow that seemed quite psychedelic. Quite Tripp'n really.

That lady has style. Something like that could easily come off quite bluergh. But she pulls it off really, really well.

Thanks for the link. Hadn't seen that version before.

No worries mate. In the late 80's I saw Tori at The Corner hotel in Richmond in Melbourne Victoria, an old gigging pub. She wore no panties and spent the evening flashing the audience. I was down in front so I could watch the drummer. I hardly looked at the drummer! Wink

I will call him a liar and a dog here and now.

The 80s stuff from the golden age of metal is still the best.

I love that cover of Smells Like Teen Spirit... it actually gives me chills.

I just wanted to let you know that I love you even though you aren't naked right now. Heart

I think Sharon's real talent is not just her beautiful voice but her ability to feel and convey feeling of songs. She's not just singing it, she gets it and she feels it and she expressed it in a way that her audience can feel it too.

The 80's were pretty magical, given lots of bands were putting out great stuff. But its not the Be all end all.

My fav JP album is Painkiller that was '90

My second fav JP was Angel of Retribution 2005

My favourite IM album is The Final Frontier (perhaps Book of Soul, need more time for it to sink in)

Although 80's Maiden is altogether incredible.

Black Sabbath's best was Heaven and Hell 1980 and they had an incredible run up to that point, so their "golden era" was more the '70's

Helloween was '87 and '88 with The Keeper albums

Megadeth was Rust in Peace and Countdown which were '90-'93

Metallica was '86 with MOP and for some people it was '91 with the self titled.

Sepultura's best was in the 90s with Arise, Chaos AD and Roots
Pantera's best was in the 90s also.

so I'd say the 70s and the 90's were also a fine Era.

And now we have such a huge range of metal Within Temptation, Nightwish, Ghost, Disturbed, Avenged Sevenfold, Lamb of God, Avantasia etc

And some of those older bands still relevant and leading the way, IM, Black Sabb, Judas Priest
