The current New York improv' scene. The air conditioned Gypsies. (Drummer on the right ex Spin doctors. Drummer on left the amazing but nutty Jojo Mayer). Whole show.

The first revolt is against the supreme tyranny of theology, of the phantom of God. As long as we have a master in heaven, we will be slaves on earth.

Woody Herman used to call these Ghost bands. Support living artists.

You know, an acquaintance of mine plays in the Glenn Miller band. Miller died in WWII.

Plenty of good modern composers out there dude.

Stephen Reich is pretty good.

These people can use the money and their music is as good if not better and more advanced.

Just saying.

Philip Glass.

Please do. Even modern rock music has gone beyond what they were doing. This tune is in 17/16 over guitars in 5/4. All happening at the same time. The drummer eventually comes in in 4/4.

I am happy to say I mastered it Smile

But as if to knock me down, reality came around
And without so much as a mere touch, cut me into little pieces
