NO! I'M NOT BEING CONTRARY, HOW DARE YOU! WRONG AGAIN! Wink

Check your previous post for an example of too much guitar solo.
All kidding aside, too much guitar tends to grate on my nerves, in large doses the guitar can have a very annoying sound. To my gentle ears at least Wink

How about Light My Fire? Too much keyboard solo? Moby Dick (drum solo)?

Neither band is really among my favourites (I know, round these boards it's blasphemy not to like Led Zeppelin, but I never really cared much for people who "borrowed" so heavily from older blues artists, somehow forgetting to credit them, not to mention Jimmy Page's ideas and beliefs).
I honestly do find electronically enhanced sounds unpleasant, so long solos using electric guitars, keyboards, etc. often have a jarring effect on me. Of course, I'm very particular about my music and sometimes the smallest thing can put me off, not to mention that I have a very low threshold when it comes to noise.

Interestingly enough, drums are sometimes easier to tolerate Smile
And yeah, i do realise this post made me come off as quite the arrogant snob Confused

So tell us, what do you listen to?
It's not like I can't stand them or something, and I used to listen to them when I was in high-school, plus, the way I feel about them also has to do with a friend who really loved them and with whom I have some issues. Weird, I know...

RE: What Are You Listening To?

E 2 = (mc 2)2 + (pc )2
614C → 714N + e + ̅νe
2 K(s) + 2 H2O(l) → 2 KOH(aq) + H2 (g) + 196 kJ/mol
It works, bitches.

Understandable. And it's ok, we'll just add you to The List.

Which reminds me: The List - Metric
