What Are Your Family Rituals?
As the title says, what rituals do you
have with your family, or if your single, do you have rituals? I'm
curious to see what other people do as families. I think as humans,
we crave rituals in our life..even in history, all the way back to
ancient times, mankind has always done something of a ritual to
commemorate different occasions. So, with my family, since we don't
pray at the dinner table, instead we just hold hands, cause the kids
like too, and go around the table and thank the person who made the
food and then say what we are grateful or happy about for that day. I
find it really brings us close together in doing this and the kids
love to do it. Oh Sunday's, instead of church, we go to the park or
go to eat breakfast at the little deli that is down the street from
us. It's really fun and it's nice to beat the crowds before churches
get out. So, what are your rituals and why do you like to do them?

RE: What Are Your Family Rituals?
The only thing I can think of as family rituals would be in Holiday celebrations, especially Christmas.

Otherwise, I don't know if I have rituals so much as habits. For instance, I enjoy when I have enough time in the morning to make coffee and breakfast and watch the morning news. But living alone may make things seem less than ritualistic than if I lived with family.

It was just a fucking apple man, we're sorry okay? Please stop the madness Laugh out load

We have the ritual of "what are we watching while eating?" "dunno" *clicking random video on youtube and eating in silence* Big Grin
Something that I do actually like is when we go somewhere. We walk, and we take the time to talk about all kinds of things, I love it. Just walk and talk, or just walk and not talk, fine as well. But walking together is very comfortable for me.
