It depends on how lazy I'm feeling on any given day. Blush
This morning I dropped a load gathered over the weekend for $150. Had another load stored in the garage cuz the place was closed yesterday, for another $100. All before lunch. Coulda kept going, but I didn't feel like driving all the way into the city, today, cuz rain clouds, and screw it, anyway. Laugh out load
You're looking at the potential for $500 a day, roughly, for nothing but scrap iron & steel you can fit into the bed of a pick-up truck. Non ferrous metals net twice that almost. Washers, dryers, grills, smokers, etc.. that still work can be sold either downtown, or at this place in Blue Springs.
I ain't gonna have to turn off the Comcast cable, or give up rum, if that's what you're asking. Tongue

[Edit] Okay so I lied. Blush Dude just texted me a picture & asked if I wanted this shiz. I do. Shy
BBL.

I wanna make a reality show out of you. Scrap Gulegons. New hit show on History Channel 1.

Currently I work in social media until I find something better.
My job is to take care of incoming reports (basically moderating content) and other issues a user might need help with concerning their account (e.g. getting hacked, losing access, etc).
Sounds exciting eh Big Grin

Software systems developer, mostly embedded, real-time, and control systems, e.g. urban traffic control, voting systems,
portable inventory devices, various medical devices, pump and motor control, 5-axis CNC controls, TV set-top boxes, smart charging devices.
Also lots of OS software such as drivers (smart cards, PC cards, networks, storage, ...) and many tools for programmers.

I've worked from peon to vice president but always as an actual developer.
Well, except once I had multiple development groups to manage and an insane boss - worst few months of my career.
He eventually fired me, but the president of the company hired me back 2 hours later.

I'm currently the semi-retired vice president of engineering at a start-up with data migration products based on my patent-pending algorithm.
(I don't think the patent will be approved - too much prior art. Weeping )

It's hard to describe.

Kinda a cross between Guru and Stand-up Comedy.

I work HVAC with a little electrical and plumbing on the side.

I worked on a tree farm before that, and before that I spent the better part of a decade in a pizza place.

I'm a program manager for a tribally owned super 8(a).

Most of the time I'm trying to keep people like Girly happy by trying to make sure they get what they need for a fair price, and squeezing nickles so the tribe can make a few extra bucks. The rest of the time I'm trying to find something else for us to do so me and the rest of the crew can stay employed.
