the above is just a small sample of what my thoughts are after while and after watching religious tv

What I've learned from 1 hour of Christian TV
So we have at 19:00 GMT "This is your day - Benny Hinn features anointed worship and powerful miracles from crusade services."

Oh my fuck, I can't watch it for too long. If the wife catches me, she'll smack my arse (that's for putting god channel on and not the cider).

You got 2 excuses you can use: 1) You thought it said Benny Hill and were waiting for the show to come on or 2) Fess up that you were watching Benny Hinn but you were fascinated by the psychology of people believing in faith healing plus thought Hinn was entertaining in a moronic way. I think you'd get more mileage with option 1.

I don't have cable, and I rarely watch broadcast tv. But if we have company we might turn it on.

There are FOUR faith based tv channels. FOUR. Out of eight channels that we get. What really horrifies me is that one is exclusively aimed at kids. And it has the same biblical nonsense and disgusting doctrines being said by cartoon characters. They hide this crap in a fuzzy exterior to indoctrinate children.

What I've learned from 1 hour of Christian TV
I had to switch off when the hands on the head and 'push to the chest fall over' shit started. There's people laid down not moving on the floor for fucks sake, how I wish I could spank some sense into them.

For a laugh I want to stand there during one of the make everyone fall over from overwhelming faith/healing/nonsense type gigs and I would just stand there with a giant smirk on my face surrounded by a bunch of people that "passed out" and fell over. Followed by slapping some sense into them.

There's a distinct lack of Benny Hill on TV. Beats Hinn hands down.

Why would you do this when there is softcore porn on?

Sadly these channels only cater for heterosexual tastes Tongue
