What Is The Difference Between God's Behavior And The Devil's?
If the Christian excuse for all the evil shit that God does in the Bible (genocide, murdering babies and children, condoning slavery, etc.) is that "God can't be held to our moral standards", then what the fuck is the difference between God and the devil? If slavery, murdering babies and children, and genocide are all evil things, and the devil represents evil, yet all of these things were done by God...then what is the fucking difference?!?! Where the hell does God come out as being any better in these situations? What is the difference between the two? It seems to just come down to each one being a jealous prick that wants you to worship them, just don't worship the wrong jealous prick.

This "We can't judge God by our moral standards" bullshit really needs to go. It's a completely hypocritical and illogical excuse. When you're defending things like the murder of babies and children, slavery and genocide I think it's time that you went and got your head examined because your line of thinking is seriously fucked up.

With all of the shit that God and the devil have in common, you would think that they would be friends instead of adversaries. Of course, the thing they have most in common is that neither of them exist.

I think a key question here for any theist, via Matt Dillahunty is: How did you determine that God was the good one, and Satan was the bad one? ie, what moral judgement or other judgement did you apply?

Give me your argument in the form of a published paper, and then we can start to talk.

Excellent question. I always considered the devil to be God's employee.

NOTE: Member, Tomasia uses this site to slander other individuals. He then later proclaims it a joke, but not in public.
I will call him a liar and a dog here and now.

Nonono, you see, all that evil stuff God does, God does it because of Original Sin, which is totally Satan's fault, not God's. Therefore, all that evil is Satan's fault, for being God's chief enabler.

.... and if you stare into the illogic, the illogic stares back.

I've always considered lucem ferre to be the good one when you compare the two.

Notice, this does not include the Great Flood, as no exact number is given for the dead in the Bible.

God had the foresight to have both their atrocities (I use the term loosely for the devil) written down in a book, where he repeatedly claimed he was the good one, and the devil was bad.

Since god is omnipotent, he knew the audience the book would reach and knew they would just take his word for it without really thinking about it.

The devil gave us knowledge.

If it werent for him I'd be wandering around mindless in some garden.

Thank the devil for that.
