If it werent for him I'd be wandering around mindless in some garden.

I think Lucifer has male parts. That makes him more my type from the get-go.

Btw.... don't blame the apple. It's said "fruit," not "apple." Apples are cool and all, but I have to think that this particular fruit had to be all sorts of luscious to be such a temptation.

Besides, isn't it said that Lucifer was like an angel of music or something? A guy who can sing? HAWT.

The devil is the one who pinches your butt and acts lewd.

God abducts and rapes you, then dumps your dismembered corpse in the river.
but not the whole family, he needs survivors so as to visit suffering up to the fourth generation.

Theism is to believe what other people claim, Atheism is to ask "why should I".

I asked an evangelist the question "Why is the devil bad?" and I got the answer "because he stands for everything god doesn't; for example Satan hates marriage". So there you have it.

The difference is in apologetic definitions. You basically define God as good and say that anything God does is good. So, if God bakes a pizza, it's good! If God drowns a bunch of babies, it's good! Satan is similarly defined as evil. So, Satan's pizzas and dead babies are evil.

Of course, many of the things God does look evil and the things Satan does look good, but that's hand waved by saying that we simply can't see the big picture. This means that Christian morality isn't based in any way on the consequential effects of actions, but rather, they're based solely on who's taking the action. It's pretty weird.
