that is debatable and some believe subjective...

what are wars really fought over is a better question and I don't think it's oil.

try to change it on Wiki... and that is a place where one might actually succeed, for a time anyway.

Plato and Aristotle is a better debate imo, the essence of their debate is represented in the "School of Athens" I had in my sig.

the Central Figures are the two undisputed main subjects: Plato on the left and Aristotle, his student, on the right.

RE: What Is Truth?
What is truth? Don't speak of truth in times like these, the concept's riddled with disease:

Big Grin

"Humans always measure what they see in front of them to what they already know. They will deny anything outside of that. They are shallow lifeforms, so enthralled with superficial appearances that they fail to see the truth."

RE: What Is Truth?
I think that truth only applies in a mathematical sense. I think saying that a circle is round or that a triangle has three sides would be true statements. Nobody bothers to say such things because we already know them.

But when we get to things such as human emotions, then truth has no meaning because how we feel can change. It may be true that I feel great today but on another day it may be false.
