What about a Team Speak server?
Hi guys.

I am new in this community and would like to suggest new ideas for it. It has a great potential and the knowledge spread here is just huge!
Well, I don't know if any of you guys have ever heard of this software called TeamSpeak. It is a software developed, in the beginning aiming gamers. The scope of it used to be a place to gather players so that they could play together.
The time passed and this concept changed, making the software become more widely used - not only for gamers, but for all kind of stuff, such as language-learning, community about car lovers, and so on...
The good thing is that as this forum you can create rooms for each kind of subject, delimiting the users by interest.
Well, it would be cool if this community had a TS server of your own, so we could log in and share ideas and stuff, not only by written words.
It is a free software and you only have to download and host the server and share its IP. You can also rent it, and it is pretty cheap.

Hahahahaha! We already have a Skype forum!

Plus, I can't use ventrilo on my iPad.

So is TeamSpeak. The only problem is that you have to host a server, you can either host it or pay for one.
I think TS is more appropriate to massive chats and Skype is more like a one on one thing. Since on TS you can create channels and stuff.

You are aware of the free, dedicated servers, and the fact that you can have over 30 people in one Skype call (free of charge), right?
