Honestly my favorite album. Just love each and every song.

And for what I am doing. Right now I am doing many things. I have to write down some notes about cats and their anatomy, evolution, behavior, some trivia, etc, have to read about fair use and copyright laws, and have to learn how to edit videos.

You get a special for that

That's a great one. In days of yore, when I used to have a multi-keyboard setup (double-manual organ, polyphonic string synth, piano, analog synths) I used to try to play Tony Banks' solos. "Squonk" in particular was tremendous fun to play (and considerably easier than, say, "The Cinema Show" from Selling England By the Pound).

And now I'm a barmy woodwind player who just spent an hour and a half working up the first-chair parts for a Christmas concert tomorrow night. (sings along with "Entangled") Blink Good heavens -- I actually remember the words.

Alas, no -- I never had the album ABACAB. Once Steve Hackett left I got a couple of the newer albums but didn't really care for them, and stopped following the band. Listening to Dodo/Lurker now, though.

Edited to add:

In the spirit of the thread title, I am now doing something even sillier than usual. While I was rehearsing earlier, with a metronome ticking away, I got the idea that perhaps using a metronome would help me learn to juggle better.

So now I'm sitting at my desk with a metronome and three tennis balls. I may still drop 'em, but this time I'll be dropping 'em in rhythm.

Just give me a 5-minute head start before sending out the nice young men in their clean white coats...

Abacab was an experiment, Duke is the more soild album. Abacab includes a lot of stuff that was never included again, especially Phil's love for trumpets and other horn instruments in the middle of the song. The title track is good though. All in all, Abacab was just an important stepping stone for the self entitled album from '83, which is brilliant.

Here's something you pretty much need to see, even if you stopped caring about the music after Gabriel and Hackett left:
