RE: What are you playing?
Started again on Dark Souls 2 SotFS. Using magic this time and holy shit magic makes this game so much easier.
On my previous save I used a little bit of miracles but that's about it, mostly just used my bigass shield and bigass sword.
Should have used it way more.

Yeah, filthy mages and low-born lighting-slingers have it so much easier than honourable melee Undead.

Protip: equip binoculars in your non-casting hand; you can use them to manually aim your casts, making things even easier.

Cheer bro, didn't know that. Came in handy.

80 years away from finishing my first EU4 campaign. (Nearly 700 hours into the game and I'm yet to finish a single campaign ><).

Electronic Arts likes torture porn.

No, fucking really. They honestly must relish in causing me great pain with minor fucking things. The motherfuckers placed a fucking Steam overlay "Lockout" on Mass Effect 3. Now I need set up a fucking laptop to assure I get all the loot I can get. Not even gonna go through all the fuckshit they made me go through in ME2. Cocksucking bastards.

A few years late to the party... But I followed WeAreTheCosmos's advice a couple months back and picked up XCOM (on PC) while Steam had it on sale. I just got around to trying it out last night. Good stuff. I wish they'd redo Dead State on the PC with smoother gameplay like XCOM.

Do we get a nice little screenshot of your accomplishments when you are done?

Good work Bioware, you ruined the Reapers. I'm sorry, but every time they make a noise they sound like some shitty dubstep made by a 15 year old, snagged off youtube. And that either causes me to laugh or get annoyed.

BWWAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAKKK

And the music, although not terrible is a complete Hans Zimmer ripoff.

Nothing special, the borders are rather ugly actually, all over the place as I made a beeline for India/Rome/Moscow/Wien (or however it's spelled, the capital of Austria). Need those achievements.
But sure.

Pity I don't have my Basileus achievement run screenshot anymore. That was a fun game and a good looking Empire.

RE: What are you playing?
@NKK, finished. My Empire at it's peek before I ruined it to get some achievements.

Nothing amazballs, mostly just for achievements.
I got (in order): Defiantly Sultan of Rum (control Rome, Istanbul and Moscow as Ottomans), City of Cities (own a city with 60 development level. Went for Istanbul), Master of India (directly control and core all of India as a European nation), Market Control (be trade leader of 7 different goods), The Grand Armada (because I ran out of viable achievements to get and thought fuck it, might as well do it now. Own 500 (yes, 500) heavy ships and have no loans. As soon as I got the achievement I disbanded all 500 >< ), One Family to Rule Them All (have 7 vassals with your dynasty. Did it with client states, easy), Black Jack (have 21 vassals with at least 5 provinces and none of them have more than 50% liberty desire) and finally Have a Little Patience (play a match from start to finish).

Rather productive if I do say so myself. So question; now what? Still got 61% of the achievements to do. (granted a big chunk are colonizing ones that can be done easily within one campaign. Might do that actually. Do I sense a Spanish campaign in the future??)

Nicely done.

Try doing the colonization game with a non-European country say Korea or Japan and have some fun with that. Or perhaps try out an native American game and try to survive the European invasion. Don't know if there's achievements for that though.

I have yet to play enough to dare venture into iron man to get achievements. I might have to give up on Crusader Kings 2 into Europa Universalis 4. I never seem to get truly hooked on my Crusader Kings games.
