Life lesson, never use stall teams against stall teams, you begin to realize you don't have the free time to have such battles.

Does the game factor in General Winter? If so, avoid the Soviets.

I would be playing Battlefleet Gothic: Armada IF I could get it to work. -__-

Winter, mud, rain, storms, snow, blizzard, sandstorm.
As well as terrain, plains, hills, mountains, forest, urban, marsh, desert (and maybe a couple others but those are the main ones).
Also takes into account day and night.

The key is to attack the Soviets in winter so by the time it's Spring and Summer you're at the worst part of Russia, your troops are tired and shit. And so instead of the hard fighting done during winter it's during summer and the easy fighting is during winter at the start.

Earmuffs in warlord heaven. Big Grin

Meanwhile, I'm chilling in the desert - only there's no black, no desert, and very little actual multiplayer in this supposed "MMO" Tongue

Overkill / Starbreeze acquired the rights to the PAYDAY franchise from publisher 505 Games, and in celebration of both that and their 100th update, removed the microtransactions from the game. The weapon skins are still there, but you no longer need to purchase drills to open up loot safes.

So I reinstalled the game and have been playing around with new builds, seeing as how they completely revamped the skills trees and have since re-balanced all of the weapons. My favorite Grinder perk deck has been nerfed, but that was to be expected, as it's health regeneration put you on par with Wolverine. But the new Anarchist perk deck is a lot of a fun, and while dodge builds as a whole got a little kneecapped, the revamped weapons and skill trees makes them far more versatile in regards to what equipment you can use effectively. Overall, I'm happy to be playing again. Plus the new Australian chick is a riot, literally.

Oh, and I managed to claw my way up to Torment 2 difficulty (Lv 80+ Paragon) in this Season of Diablo 3, and have all but 2 of the season objectives completed.

Holy shit this is fantastic!
I hope this trend of shitting on pay to win micro-transactions continues. They're a fucking plague on the industry and companies that do them need to be put in their place.

They have their place, like in free-to-play games, but certainly not in 2 year old games with $100+ in DLC content in which also the developers promised to never put them in. Looks like the publisher 505 Games were most likely the ones pulling the strings, as they had control over the rights. It looks like they're teasing an announcement for PAYDAY 3 at this year's E3.

Plus, this game has 3 movie tie-ins now. John Wick from his self titled film, Bodhi from the Point Break remake, and Jimmy (voice by Sharlto Copley) from Hardcore Henry. Oh, and Jacket, the protagonist from Hotline Miami.

I shit you not, they got Sharlto Copley in the game.

RE: What are you playing?
In returning to corrections, I sometimes find myself bored for long hours of time (such as during 12 to 16 hour hospital escorts where the inmate is A: sedated and asleep and B: handcuffed to the bed) so I've been kind of going back towards portable gaming. And become frustrated with the state of it. Anxious to see what the Nintendo NX is all about in that regards.

I got a nice "gaming" tablet and immediately downloaded Walking Dead: Road to Survival only to discover that, like 98% of all smartphone/tablet games, it's basically just Farmville with different graphics. I promptly deleted it and cursed them for tainting the Walking Dead name I tried a few random games from Gameloft which, though decent, are still completely failing to take advantage of the potential available to them in my opinion.

So I got pissed off and instead just went out and got the newest version of the 3DS XL and like 10 games for it, some new some a few years old. I'm currently absorbed in Fire Emblem: Awakening, and enjoying it way more than anything I tried out on the tablet for which I paid three times as much.

A couple weeks ago I also finally gave in and picked up an XBox One and Fallout 4, Doom, Dark Souls 3, and Witcher 3. I still haven't taken it or any of the games out of their boxes yet lol. Too much shit going on to game at home. Some day... I'm pretty much drowning in first world gaming problems right now.
